Choosing a burial plot, there are a number of cemeteries in Hull and East Riding along with church cemeteries. Prices can vary depending on the council and church fees. We are here to guide you through the arrangements and legal procedures to arrange burials.
A woodland burial is somewhere more natural to hold a funeral and remember a loved one and provides a natural alternative to a traditional cemetery.
There are no traditional headstones placed on the grave they marked by the planting of a memorial tree or the placing of plaque.
We have access to a number of woodland burial sites including the North Yorkshire Moors.
Horse and carriage funeral
VW Camper hearse funerals
A traditional funeral service includes a hearse and limousine, you may wish to add extra limousines. The funeral cortege leaves from a family home or an alternative address or our funeral home and takes you to your choice of service. At the service you will be fully looked after and after the service the limousine will take you to your wake or chosen address. You can choose to take this option or you add and remove elements. A funeral service is personal and as a qualified funeral director with over 20 years experience we know every service is different so we listen to your requirements and we can help give you different ideas of how to personalise the funeral.
A simple funeral service is an alternative to a traditional funeral service and we guarantee to provide our usual high levels of care for your loved one. Includes hearse only or you may wish to follow in your own cars, the cortege can meet you at the crematorium or leave from a family home or our funeral home.
Direct cremation or Burial
A modest cremation or burial is a service for people who may have expressed their wishes not to have a funeral. A celebration of life or more commonly known as a wake can still take place if required in memory of your loved one whilst still respecting their funeral wishes.
The service includes bringing your loved one into our funeral home, legal paper work, basic coffin and a cremation at a local crematorium. The service is normally taken place before the crematorium opens and no family members attend the service. The date for the service is set at a convenient time for the crematorium. No chapels visits or embalming treatments, however you may wish us to place some personal items with your loved one.
After the service the ashes may be scattered at the crematorium or we can keep them safe for you at our funeral home until your ready to collect them. The service is still respectful and your loved one is taken to the crematorium (or burial site) in our modern hearse with four pall bearers.
